Huawei earbuds are here called the FreeBuds 3. The Huawei FreeBuds 3 is an Open-fit earbud with ANC (active noise cancellation) and it here to compete with the likes os apple AirPods 2 and Samsung earbuds.
Huawei FreeBuds 3 are nice looking earbuds with so much to offer for its low price compared to other big guys out there. The device is equipped with Kirin A1 chipset with features that makes the battery life last long, a Bluetooth 5.1 that makes the connection very fast (2.5s) by using a technology called the Isochronous double channel.
The design of the Huawei FreeBuds 3 is great without the silicon tip like the AirPod Pro, it an open-fit wireless earphone. There is no pain experienced in the ear from using them for a long period of time (3-4hrs) and it features the IPX4 splash/water resistance should in case you need to work out with it. The Huawei FreeBuds 3 weighs just 5g each in the ear and the case weighs 50g and still fit perfectly into your pocket but it might look larger than your regular Apple AirPod case that looks more portable.
We have a Type-C USB and wireless charging which makes it good, plus the charging is quite fast with 2W on wireless charging and 6W using a cable and the battery is just 30mAh on each FreeBuds 3 and 410mAh battery capacity inside the charging case.
How many hours can the FreeBuds 3 last?
The Huawei FreeBuds 3 will last 4 hours on a full charge using one earbud, so typically users have 8 hours using it at different times and just 4 hours using both pairs. And the charging case gets users an extra 16 hours on a full charge, so yeah it a good one.
The FreeBuds 3 is best in use when paired with an Android device like it brand (Huawei device) which has the EMUI 10 already, am not saying it not good for other devices outside the brand, of it is but you will enjoy it better when it is paired with a Huawei device.
There is Bluetooth menu just like what we have on iPhones when in connection with AirPods and the FreeBuds 3 has some control functions that can be done using Huawei AI Life app if you don’t have a Huawei device and it can be gotten from the Google Playstore, or if you have a Huawei device without the app pre-installed, it is available to download in the Huawei app market and playstore too.
A gesture like a double-tap on the left FreeBud 3 will activate or deactivate the ANC, while the same gesture on the right FreeBud 3 will start or stop a song, and controls like adjusting the level of noise cancellation is also a plus.
The Huawei FreeBuds 3 is not the best out there when it comes to Noise Cancellation but for its price, it does quite a good job.
If you are looking for an alternative to the expensive Apple AirPods Pro, Huawei got you as an Android user, giving you almost the same quality as what you would have on the AirPods Pro. The sound is nice, a close to perfect ANC technology but not on the same level with the AirPods Pro, it comfortable in the ear, good battery life, splash resistant, nice gesture mode, and control unit, best open-fit earbuds out there.
How much is the Huawei FreeBuds 3 price in Nigeria?
