The future of front camera red-design is here as Huawei is set to patent a smartphone with IN-display camera lens.
Huawei is not the first OEM to pull this off. ZTE is actually the first smartphone company to sell a smartphone with an under display selfie camera, the ZTE AXON 20 5G. And not to skip a fact, they are currently the only company selling a smartphone with under display camera as of the time this article was published.
We are expecting the likes of Apple, Xiaomi, Oppo and Samsung to join the trend as Huawei wants to take the second spot after they announce the patenting of a smartphone with a UPC.

Looking at the render, the phone looks like a mid-range smartphone, but it’s just a render as the finished product might be something entirely different.
According to an article on Gsmarena, it was reported that Hauwei actual patent was filed with the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). China is Huawei’s mobile only major market.
