Allview is a Romanian smartphone manufacturer found in the year 2002 and it is owned by a company called Visual Fan, and they have released some couple of smartphones, tablets over the years and also mobile phones that are not android oriented, though it phones are produced/made in china. Allview just added to their catalog a new device called the Allview Viper 4 pro which looks kind of weird at first sight because of its display design.
This is a whole new kind of notch display and it is a notch on the right side of Allview Viper 4 pro which has the front camera above it as well. To be honest it looks kind of cool looking at it but it just doesn’t feel so right with me.
Allview Viper 4 pro Design
Allview Viper 4 pro is made of plastic body and the surface of glass without 2.5D curved screen, it weighs just 191g with battery, and it only comes in just a color; Dark Grey. Allview Viper 4 pro has a big chin and a not so big bezel to the top, the bezels to the sides are ok and the general design is quite alright as a budget device, the back has a round fingerprint panel and a dual-camera design that looks like that of iPhone X.
Allview Viper 4 pro Display
Allview Viper 4 pro features a 6.8 inches HD screen of IPS, LCD Capacitive Touchscreen with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen is quite large with a screen to body ratio of 82.3% which will be perfect for watching movies and gaming, it has a display resolution of 1325 x 640p which is the lowest a budget phone can feature and in conclusion to the resolution, it is very bad like I’ll give it 1 star. Why would they give a fine phone like a 640p display resolution in 2019/2020? Like I am really lost.
Allview Viper 4 pro camera
As a budget device, you shouldn’t expect the best because you will end up getting heartbroken, but it doesn’t mean it very bad. Allview Viper 4 pro is equipped with a dual-camera module at the back and a single one which is located at the uppermost right corner of the device which is really unique and weird.
To the back is a 13MP AF main shooter with f/2.2 aperture which is still okay for a low-cost smartphone + 0.3MP depth-sensing camera for a portrait shot, an LED flashlight in the middle of both Lens. The main shooter supports a video quality of 1080p@30fps, and to the front is an 8MP camera with video support of up to 1080p@30fps. Some of the features of the camera are;
- Autofocus
- Continuous Autofocus

- Digital image stabilization
- Digital zoom
- Exposure compensation
- Face detection
- Geotagging
