Blackview BV9600 Pro and Plus is one of the rugged smartphones made in 2018. The first is the Ulefone Armor 5, which has many great features plus it cheap and was designed beautifully based on the Ulefone X having the notch screen display.

Blackview BV9600 Pro and Plus in Nigeria will be a nice phone to be used by sportsmen, engineers, and student who go on field trips and travel around the city.

Blackview BV9600 Pro feature a remarkable design, mixing new tech and upgrading the existing one on the device is really a nice thing by Blackview.

The device sports a notch screen display, a waterproof, dustproof and drop-proof, making the device an indestructible rugged smartphone. It is made with both metal and plastic and an in-display navigation keys and fingerprint and a side fingerprint.

On the back is a matte polishing design plate which uses an advanced anti-glare atomization process which is 50% tougher than common glass, and it gains more soiled resistance and a soft touch.

The Blackview BV9600 Pro and Plus are further made of a highly strong and thickened gorilla glass with  4 corners new kind of TPU and a 7 series strong aluminum alloy structure.

BV9600 Pro and Plus are equipped with a 6.2-inches super AMOLED display which is an upgrade from IPS display and we all know the display quality of the AMOLED display especially the black deepened color, higher contrast ratio, wide color gamut and reduction in power consumption.

The display on these devices has a wide viewing angle with lower latency and faster response and all this could make a gaming experience on this device a really good one with additional back up to be discussed in the performance section.

Blackview Pro and Plus sports a dual back Samsung camera of 16MP which is the main camera lens  + 8MP for depth of field and both camera lenses are AI oriented in order to perform multiple optimizations, enhance portrait shoots, and taking pictures in a low light environment.

On the front is an 8MP shooter with f/2.2 wide-angle aperture but no front LED flashlight and it performs nicely in a well-opened environment with enough light.

The upgrade done in this section is a long one but not really what I was expecting,  MTK Helio P60 with a 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at the speed of 2.2GHz was adopted on the Blackview BV9600 Pro and Plus which is up to 65% faster in performance ranging from battery consumption to the gaming experience, and the devices have faster machine learning with NeuroPilot intelligence (AI) which supports power efficiency and camera shoots enhancement.

Blackview BV9600 Pro and Plus houses a 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with a memory speed of 1600MHz, and an internal memory of 128GB making the phone load faster and move smoothly, making playing games and performing multiple operations easier.

Both devices are equipped with a big battery capacity of 5,580mAh Li-Polymer battery type which is absolutely non-removable. No wireless charging technology but a fast charge only to fasten up the big battery life in a short period of time.

It has up to 54 hours audio playback time, 40 hours talk time, 27 hours video playback time, 13 hours gaming time and 800 hours standby time.

Blackview BV9600 Pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo which will receive an update to Android 9.0 Pie, while the Blackview BV9600 Plus runs on Android 9.0 Pie.

Both phones are equipped with AW1813 Audio Chip to give more audio quality with an effective Bandwidth 400Hz-20,000Hz, a Volume Value 96dB and an advanced GPS, glove mode, an in-display fingerprint on the BV9600 Plus while the BV9600 Pro features the side fingerprint.
