Doogee has been releasing just low version smartphones into the global market, though they are nice and they come cheap. some of the smartphones released
Dooge has now finally released a mid-range budget device which is the Y7 Plus and the company calls it “Youth without limit” which I guess it because of the screen but we’ll get to it. The Doogee Y7 Plus features a nice sleek design with a metal frame and glass body plus it’s designed in Aurora Blue, Obsidian Black, and Phantom purple. We have a notch screen, a front-facing home button that also works as the fingerprint sensor, dual back camera, and big storage memory and of course, big battery.
Doogee Y7 Plus DISPLAY
Doogee Y7 Plus features a big FHD+ display of 6.18-inches with a top big top notch, it features a display resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels resulting up t 403 PPI (Pixel density) which is pretty good, it gives more color and viewing angle. Still on the display is LTPS screen with an ultra-narrow border, 19:9 aspect ratio giving it up to 83% screen to body ratio.
Doogee Y7 Plus CAMERA
Doogee has also not just make the display and design worthwhile they improved on the camera. On the rear side is a dual camera of 16MP primary camera Lens + 13MP secondary Lens which features a different mode of shooting like the pro mode, blur mode, and an intelligent light compensation based on the modes.
The front camera is equipped with an 8MP Lens with f/2.0 aperture but I would have appreciated it more if it has the f/1.8 aperture which allows more light and takes better shots. The front camera further features a face recognition sensor for face unlock, beauty mode, mono mode.
Doogee Y7 Plus PERFORMANCE
Doogee Y7 Plus runs on an MTK Helio P25 processor with 64-bit CPU architecture and an Octa-core with a clocked speed of 2.5GHz which is a plus to the device performance in speed and it is coupled with a 6GB RAM to achieve a maximum task. Having a 6GB RAM on a mid-range device with a high MediaTek chipset plus a 64GB internal memory which can further be expanded up to 128GB using a micro SD card is a nice thing to do by Doogee.
Doogee Y7 Plus POWER, OS, AND OTHERS
The device is powered by 5080mAh non-removable battery which can last up to 10 hours playing mobile games, half a day watching videos, up to 15 hours surfing the web and not to worry, the device supports fast charging but no wireless on this one. Y7 Plus runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS fresh from the box, having most of the Google pre-installed apps.
The device as stated above features the fingerprint ID and face unlock system and sensors include; Proximity, Light, Accelerometer, Coulometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, and a rear Fingerprint sensor having up to 360° identification. It is also equipped with Type-C USB v2.0 with OTG, Bluetooth v4.0 and the Doogee Y7 Plus sells for just $229.
