Krita is an open-source software digital painting software, and it’s free for all users.
The Krita App used to be a graphics editor app for desktops only and it was developed as an alternative to GIMP which is also an open-source software used for retouching images.
The Krita desktop-based app is now available on the Play Store to be downloaded on Androids and Chrome OS.
The software is fully ported with no tools left out from the side tools view to some others, only the menu was redesigned to be an overflow menu which is the normal mobile compatible menu we are all used to.
There is a setting to hide the large bar by the left and it can be called on by just tapping on the side button.
The app is best used and enjoyed on Tablet devices because of their large screens and the people who makes the best use of the app are those with a device that supports stylus (pens) like the Google Pixel Slate or Samsung Galaxy S6.
The app, for now, is only available for download in the Play Store on Tablet devices but if you want it on your smartphone, download the apk file from APKmirror.
