Oppo R17 Pro is one of the latest device revealed by Oppo in 2018. The R17 features a 6.4-inches AMOLED screen which is great and a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and the screen is gladly protected by a corning Gorilla glass 6 which stronger than the it predecessor.
It is further equipped with a waterdrop notch display design, so it looks nothing like the awesome Oppo Find X, up to 88% screen to body ratio giving the device a broad view when it comes to watching movies, playing games and e.t.c
The in-display fingerprint ID is adopted on the Oppo R17 Pro which am not a fan of for now because i believe it still needs a lot of upgrade that needs to be done before it is perfected like the fingerprint sensor we are used to plus it has no Face ID.
it has no headphone jack, instead it has the type-c USB port which can be used to connect 3.5mm headphone.
Oppo R17 Pro CAMERA
R17 pro spots a triple camera design at the rear side which will remind you of Huawei Mate 20 Pro and other smartphones with triple camera at the rear side but not exactly the same tech was used on this one.
R17 Pro is equipped with a 20MP (f/2.4 aperture) main camera, 12MP (f/1.5 aperture) both with CMOS image sensor and a TOF (Time of flight) 3D stereo secondary camera lens.
Though this cannot be compared to the camera on Huwei P20 pro nor Mate 20 Pro but it offers a nice and decent quality too.
The third camera is basically meant to extract information of facial parts using infrared light to interpret highly accurate depth information in stunning detail.
The cameras are further equipped with an AI Ultra Clear engine: what does this do? it enhances the color of shoots take both at night and during the day producing an image just as you see it though not 100% but it awesome.
To the front is 25MP selfie camera with f/2.0 wide angle aperture, face recognition sensor and Sony IMX576 Exmor RS.
Oppo R17 Pro HARDWARE AND MEMORY
Oppo R17 Pro runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 with a clocked speed of 2.2GHz which cannot perform as high as the one used on Find X but still OK because it’s further equipped with a 6GB/8GB RAM to back it up and 128GB internal memory to speed task also.
