VIVO announced a new device (VIVO S6 5G) that will be launching soon, and if you haven’t come in contact with any of their devices, well, VIVO is all about the camera and music. The newly to be launched device will come featured with a circle-shaped camera bump.
The S6 5G will launch on the 31st of March, and according to the company, the improvement that was mainly done was on the selfie camera which was not really up to the task on the previous version of the series, S5.
I will admit VIVO is good at what they do and Funtouch OS is really good if you want a smartphone with an OS that is identical with the IOS, from the setting panel to notification panel, Icons, side panel that shows weather and other useful tools, Funtouch OS has that.
The S5 5G was equipped with a 32MP selfie camera which is good, but we are expecting the VIVO S6 5G to have more than what the previous version has and as I said, the company point of focus was the front snapper quality.
There is not much of the VIVO S6 5G that was said and there has not been any leak about the device specifications, so I guess we should just expect more or an upgrade of what was installed on the VIVO S5 and with the name, we know it will support the new 5G network.
VIVO S5 features a quad rear camera setup; 48MP main snapper, 8MP secondary lens, 2MP sensor for ultra-wide and 5MP for depth sensing. On the inside, VIVO S6 5G might be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G SoC.
A lot is not known about the device only the back image has been seen and nothing else, the phone might be available in Nigeria as network carriers are trying to get on the 5G network plus it works on 4G too so it is not a problem.
